Neighbors serving the lakeshore, and the world beyond it.
We are business, professional and community leaders in southwest Berrien County who meet each week for lunch, friendship and practical service, from North Lake Park to clean water in the Dominican Republic.

Fifty-plus years of showing up.
Founded in April 1974 by Bill Galbreath and Fred Schmidt, Lakeshore Rotary is part of Rotary International District 6360 and a worldwide network of 1.4 million people of action. Like every Rotary club, we work to promote peace, fight disease, provide clean water, support education and grow local economies, guided by the Four-Way Test.

North Lake Park
In an ongoing partnership with Lincoln Charter Township, our members have put in more than a thousand volunteer hours restoring North Lake Park: building boardwalks through the wetlands, refinishing picnic tables, planting, raking and keeping the pavilion ready for the community. Spring and fall work days are some of our favorite mornings of the year.

International
Clean water in the Dominican Republic
Members have traveled to the Dominican Republic to install BioSand water filters, giving families safe drinking water at home. The club has contributed more than $100,000 to the effort.

Community
Senior Night
Each spring we host our community's seniors for dinner and a theatrical performance by Lakeshore High School students.

The best way to get to know Rotary is to have lunch with us. Come as our guest, hear the week's speaker and meet people who love this corner of Michigan as much as you do. If it feels like a fit, we'll walk you through membership.
